Introduction

The ANSEP alumni awards scholarships on a yearly basis for $1,000 for the academic year at UAA. The awards will be paid to the student at $500 per semester. This program is for full-time students working towards a degree in engineering.

An applicant for the ANSEP Alumni Scholarship must be:

• ANSEP student in "good standing"
• Enrolled, full time, at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5
• Demonstrative leadership within ANSEP

The application packet must include the following:

• Signed and completed application
• A copy of your college grade transcripts
• A typed, signed, and dated one page personal statement which contains your brief personal history, a summary of accomplishment and a description of your education and employment goals.
• Current resume
• Class schedule
• No more than three letters of recommendation from teachers, employers, and others who know of your experience and potential to succeed in your chosen career. Do not submit letters from relatives
